The Canik TP9 series of handguns has rapidly become one of our favorite full size pistol options. The TP9 Elite Combat Executive has upgraded components from Salient Arms, including a distinctive gold, fluted, barrel. It’s striking to look at, and is also a serious performer. With 18+1 rounds of 9mm on board, it has plenty of stopping power or target hitting capacity. The trigger is very good, smooth and quick. The pistol is suppressor ready with a threaded barrel, and has a useful picatinny rail under the barrel for a light (or light/laser combo, or Mantis dry fire trainer).
We have tested several of these, and they have been 100% reliable, and very accurate. The fiber optic sights are great and allow for rapid target acquisition. This gun shoots like a gun twice its cost. There is also a red dot equipped version available here.
